Welcome!

Important Information for May 17th

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I want to inform you of an incident that occurred after school yesterday in the community. A 15 yr. old female student, who was walking home from the bus stop at Durham and Grove,  was approached by a man in a dark green, 4 door vehicle, possibly a Saturn.  This black man, weighing approximately 150 lbs, about 5’10” tall, started following her and tried to engage her in conversation. The student kept walking away from him and he eventually got into the vehicle.  The Middletown Township Police Department will be closely monitoring the area to see if the man returns.

Please take time to talk to your child about the importance of not talking to strangers and seeking immediate help from an adult if he/she is ever in an unsafe situation.  We understand that incidents such as these cause concern for all of us regarding the safety of our children.  Please let us know if your child is particularly concerned so that we can assist you to ease any anxious feelings.  Be assured that we will continue all our efforts to assure the safety of our schools.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.  Thank for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Principal

We have set 8th grade Move Up Day for June 18 from 8:00-11:00 AM in the auditorium. It is always the last full day prior to exams, which of course changes as we have snow days. So let's hope Spring has arrived!

"Dependability, intergrity, the characteristic of never knowingly doing anything wrong, that you would never cheat anyone, that you would give everybody a fair deal.  Character is a sort of an all-inclusive thing.  If a man has character, everyone has confidence in him."
