Vision Screening –

Far Test: all students yearly

Near Test: all students yearly

Convex Lens Test: Gr. 1

[and previously untested]

Color Vision Test: Grs. 1/2

[and previously untested]

Stereo Depth Perception Test: Gr. 1/2

[and previously untested]

Hearing Screening – K, Grades 1, 2, 3, 7 &11

Scoliosis Screening – Grades 6 & 7

Body Mass Index [BMI] and BMI Percentile yearly grades Kindergarten through 12^th

All Screening exams may be rated as pass or fail. Failure means that the results are outside the expected range but are not a diagnosis of ill health. Parents are notified of all failures with regard to health screenings and an examination by an appropriate health care provider is recommended.
